    I usually avoid fast food Chinese places, as my experience with them in general has been "tastes good, feel sick an hour later." After our local dine-in place closed, my partner recommended I give Lucky Express a try, and I'm so glad I did. Love the food, the portions are generous (we always get at least two meals out of a combo), and best of all I don't get sick after. So far I've tried the noodles, fried rice, kung pao chicken, BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, and honey walnut shrimp and have enjoyed them all. The only negative is that the pork was quite dry and could have used a bit of sauce, however the flavor was fantastic so it's not a deal breaker for me. Service is quick, and there are tables inside for dine-in or you can take it to go.

    This is a Chinese takeaway place with a hot food bar. As it's close to home, we get this place fairly often for quick Chinese. It's reasonably fresh, and portions are large. Orange chicken and chow mein are go-tos. This place isn't going to win any awards for quality or atmosphere but the food is solid, very reasonably priced for what you get and good for a quick Americanized Chinese fried food fix. They do have a few tables there but not much ambiance, more utilitarian than anything. It has a slightly cluttered and dated feeling. But the ladies who serve the food are helpful, and the food is good so we will keep coming back, now that our #1 takeaway place (Chinese Combo in Signal Hill) recently closed.

    We were in Long Beach after running errands and was craving some fast food Chinese , and quickly found this gem.... Now you NOW, this place is going to be delightful when there's people waiting in line... everything was fresh, from the rice, noodles, orange chicken... and they Jam pack each item; literally till you can't close the lid.... Will definitely visit soon... YUM
